Microsoft Word
I prefer not to read Microsoft Word attachments.
This is because the Word format is ill-defined and proprietary.
Also, Word files may contain viruses.
If you want me to read a Word document, you have the following options.
- Convert it into text, html, pdf or another acceptable format

before sending it.
- Send me a short text message explaining why you need to send a Word
file and wait until I reply.
- Print the file and mail the hard copy to me.
