• July 1999 - December 2001: Assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Old Dominion University.


• December 1998 - July 1999: Postdoc with David Keyes, Dimitri Mavriplis and Alex Pothen. Joint position between Department of Computer Science at the Old Dominion University and ICASE at NASA Langley Research Centre.


• September 1997 - December 1998: Postdoc position with Ivan Graham in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Bath.


• April 1996 - September 1997: Postdoc position with Ulrich Rüde in the Lehrstuhl für Angewandte Analysis mit Schwerpunkt Numerik at Universität Augsburg. Prof Rüde is currently at the University of Erlangen-Nürmberg.


• September 1995 - May 1996: Research Assistant with ANU Supercompuer Facility at the Australian National University.
