Abstract
The recursive convolution equation plays a very important role in
digital signal processing. In this paper we derive a 2D systolic
architecture for solving the recursive convolution equation.
Our solution has twice the throughput of a recent proposal by
Robert and Tchuente [J. VLSI and Computer Systems 1, 4, 398-407]
at the expense of using twice the area.
